This page is for coordinating the checking of old images for WP:IUP compliance. If enough people are interested, we could eventually move this out of my userspace!

- Check that files are well sourced
- Check that license tags are valid and applicable
Non-free files edit
- Check that non-free files are have a valid fair use rationale for every article in which they appear, in compliance with WP:NFCC
- Check that non-free files are at the lowest possible resolution/length to accurately represent their subject
Free files edit
- Tag files that are free in their source country and in the US with {{tocommons}} and move to Commons. Tag with {{subst:ncd}} when moved. An admin may delete the image under WP:CSD#F8 when possible.
- Tag images that are free in the US but non-free in their source country with {{do not move to Commons}}
