Korean Lunar New Year

Use the information provided by The Purple Mountain Observatory (Chinese: 紫金山天文台; pinyin: Zǐjīnshān Tiānwéntái) regarding the Chinese Lunisolar Calendar, to celebrate the first day of the Korean Lunar New year.

Koreans take white as a lucky colour, so they will give white envelopes to kids, also adding white background couplets on the door to wish luck.
