CHIJIOKE GREGORY ONUZURUIKE born on 22nd April 1981 popularly known by his stage name C J Cruz aka Cruz Master is a Nigerian multitalented rapper, singer, songwriter, author, quote writer etc. He started his music career at a very early age, As at the year 1992 when he was eleven (11) years old ,he wrote his first song titled "why" then he used to take his mates to a primary school where he teaches them how to rap and sing but officially started music in 2014 when he realised a song titled "Olofofo". In 2015 he also did a song titled "Swagger like Me".In 2016 he did a controversial song titled " Say Bugaria" which was addressed to the then President of Nigeria, Mr Mohammad Buhari GCFRN and so many others. He started writing at the age of seventeen (17), in 2004 he wrote his first book titled "the story of my life" and many others, he has more than one thousand quotes written by him.
LIFE AND MUSIC CAREER
Chijioke Gregory Onuzuruike was born and raised at Enugu state Nigeria, though he is from Amuznta in Old Umuahia, Umuahia South LGA of Abia State Nigeria. His stage name C J Cruz was derived from his first name Chijioke (C J) while CRUZ was the name that was given to him by his friends because of his attitude of fun loving, no dulling moment whenever he's around which was later called aka Cruz Master by one of his friends Mr Ikott. He developed an interest in music at his early age, His father was a chorister and a choirmaster who loves music so much. His grandmother was a leader of a cultural group back then. As you can see music is their blood. When he was eleven years old, he used to teach his mates how to sing and rap music. Then he wrote his first song "why" in 1992 when he was eleven. All he wanted to be is a musician but because of his family background, all his father want to hear is education nothing else. His father was an Engineer then chose to be an Engineer. He studied Electrical Electronics Engineering at the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) Enugu State Nigeria. At National Youth Service Corp at Delta State Nigeria, he started writing many songs, After his Youth Service Corp in 2009. As at 2010 he relocated to Abuja where he started his music career officially while he was waiting for a job, he found his real self (music). At 2014 he did a song titled " Olofofo", In 2015 he did a song "Swagger like Me". In 2016 he did a controversial Rap song called "Say Bugaria" which was addressed to the then President of Nigeria Mr Mohammad Buhari GCFRN.
