Musical Career edit

Chico Beginings With P.AND.A

Brother Shadrach began his musical career as a Christian Hip Hop artist recording and performing locally in the Antelope Valley. He now resides in Los Angeles, CA but is most noted for his work in Chico, CA (a city in Northern California) with Hip Hop group Perspire and Achieve (P.AND.A). Including Moonshine Music Company founder, Dash Weidhofer, the duo gained local popularity performing at house parties, coffee shops, and venues. [1] While Shadrach attended Chico State the group was active in WildOak Music Group's Hip Hop Collective. In May 2009, the group was nominated for a CAMMIE Award (Chico Area Music Awards). [2] The two released one studio album in 2009 called Just Cubs, which was independently released online and locally before the group disbanded. P.AND.A frequently featured Chico Hip Hop artist Quentin "Eye-Que" Fields who was also from Palmdale, CA. Capitalizing on their rising popularity individually, the three collaborated on several songs while contributing to P.AND.A's, Brother Shadrach's, and Eye-Que's projects respectively.[3] Brother Shadrach continued to work with Eye-Que as he served as Executive Producer for Eye-Que's critically acclaimed debut album, Mainstream Underground.

Solo Career (Late 2009-Present)

Weeks before Just Cubs and Mainstream Underground dropped, Brother Shadrach released his first full length self-titled solo album. A limited production of the album were sold before being re-released online re-titled as Brother Shadrach: REVISITED. The new version included new additions including "Do You Justice" "a tribute to a significant other".[4] The new release also included the critically acclaimed single "DoWutUCan", which featured the production of DMP Music producer, ShonSteez.

In the fall of 2009, Brother Shadrach released a Beautiful Connections, a free album displaying his production work, online via LAHipHopCalendar.com. The album featured an array of unsigned artists out of Chico, CA including Alyriki, Eye-Que, Tybox, Lynguistix, Dusted Phoniks and Willdy Diamond. Sponsored and hosted by the Los Angeles Hip Hop blog and events calendar the album garnerned several hundred unofficial downloads. As a producer Brother Shadrach's works have been featured on Dusted Phoniks 180 Miles, Lynguistix's mixtape Hold Up Rewind That Vol. 1, and most recently he produced the single and title track on R&B artist Alyriki's album Come Back To Bed.

Brother Shadrach is continually excercising his career as a songwriter, producer, and artist. He plans on releasing his third studio album tentatively named "Fixin' The Shade" which is set to be released Summer 2010.
