Hi Halle, and thanks for joining the WikiProject Australian law. Unfortunately the project isn't too active at the moment, but there's a bunch of open tasks, and you're welcome to do any of them.

I also noticed that you moved the page on the Mabo case to Mabo v Queensland, and you've suggested merging the articles on the two Mabo cases. See my comments over at Talk:Mabo v Queensland about that.

Again, welcome! --bainer (talk) 02:30, 15 November 2005 (UTC)

You are a law student at Melbourne Uni? I studied law there for a year, ages ago (as an undergrad). I'm now located in Queensland. You are right, the Australian law section on wiki has not been to active. Perhaps we can work together, but Im so new to this website i don't fully understand how to get to everything, etc. Thanks for the message. --Never29 05:23, 15 November 2005 (UTC) Yes, I've just finished second year. Wikipedia:Tutorial is a good place to start to learn how to edit pages and so forth. As far as navigating around, the Community Portal has some useful links. The handbook over at Meta has some more detailed information. If you've got any more questions, then feel free to ask. --bainer (talk) 07:47, 15 November 2005 (UTC) Hiya Never29. You might like to check out some Australian resources like the Australian Wikipedians' Notice Board and The Australia Wikiportal. Happy editing, --Cyberjunkie Talk 07:52, 15 November 2005 (UTC)

Please do not add parent categories (i.e. Universities in Australia) to articles that already have a subcategory (i.e. Universities in New South Wales). This is unnecessary, and I've reverted your latest batch of changes accordingly. Also, please do not add article categories to user pages. Ambi 14:20, 27 November 2005 (UTC)

Universities in Australia is not meant to have any articles in it; it houses the relevant state subcategories, which then have the university articles in them. The city categories, however, are a bit more of a mess; perhaps it might be an idea to raise the issue at the Australian Wikipedians' noticeboard. Secondly, if you're commenting on people's talk pages, can you please add your comments at the bottom? Thirdly, I've again removed the High Court and Law categories from your user page, as they're intended for articles, not user pages.
