Omar Nidal Ammache (Arabic: عمر نضال عماش; born 23 March 1997) is a Lebanese footballer who plays as a left winger for Lebanese Premier League club Nejmeh.

Club career edit

Youth edit

In 2010 Ammache became the first 12-year old Australian footballer to secure move to Brazilian team Clube Atlético Mineiro, attaining a three-year scholarship following a three-month trial.[2]

However, Ammache's time with the Brazilian side came two years short due to Visa difficulties, urging him to return back home in 2014 to join the youth team of Victorian Premier League side Oakleigh Cannons FC at the age of 16.[3]

Senior edit

Ammache joined National Premier Leagues Victoria side Avondale in 2015.[4] In 2018 he moved to Spanish club UCAM Murcia B in the Tercera División.[5]

In 2021 Ammache joined Port Melbourne in the NPL Victoria.[6] He made his debut on 26 February, failing to convert a penalty in a 1–0 defeat to Melbourne Knights.[6] Ammache made his first assist on 31 March, in a 5–0 win against St Albans Saints.[7] He scored his first two goals on 5 April, against Berwick in a 9–1 win in the 2021 FFA Cup preliminary round.[8] Ammache's first goal in the league came on 24 April, scoring a header against Heidelberg United.[9]

On 2 September 2021, Ammache moved to Lebanese Premier League side Nejmeh.[10]
