Nakshatra is and Indian citizen and was born in Chennai,Tamilnadu.
Her parents are from kerala and her family is settled in gurgaon.
Nakshatra is not only a pop singer but also an athlete. She is best at the 90 meter races. Nakshatra speaks several languages including English,Malayalam,Hindi,Tamil,French and a pinch of both Spanish and Portugese. Nair draws inspiration from Selena Marie Gomez and Karla Camila Cabello for she says that she relates to them both and also their music. Nair goes on to add that she adores music,theater,sports and travel. She also says that , she aspires to be a singer and actor.
