I am a doctoral researcher studying food, migration, and history. I am attending a training workshop at the British Library, which is great because

• I have no idea how to do this
• It is really interesting to learn why the work we are doing is needed

I have an interest in Chinese and Indian food history, international movements of cooks, foods and ideas of good and bad food. I look at trade across the Indian Ocean and South China Seas and across South Asia, South Asia and East Asia.
