My name in Sindarin signifies Darkness of Legions of Stars. I am a university lecturer based in Warsaw, Poland. My professional interests include
- languages (theories of languages, F & SLA, language teaching, language development etc.)
- translation (am a practicing translator and interpreter, I'm mostly interested in practical aspects of translation)
- business (I teach Business & Business Translation courses, run my own company, and am generally an avid supporter of laissez-faire approach).
My non-professional interest are:
- history (especially ancient history, history of the crusades, military history in general, history of fortifications)
- fencing (swordmanship to be precise, I'm a member of swordmanship group practicing with swords, rapiers, short swords, broadswords and the like)
- RPG, computers, fashion and women (in varying degrees of intensity).
