My wife is a member of the Montfort family and was born in Montfort, Texas while it was a viable unincorporated hamlet and before it passed into history. At a recent Montfort Family Reunion, it was noticed that there was very little information online about the family hamlet. A suggestion was made that a Wikipedia page should be created. I was asked to develop the basic page on behalf of the family.
