Gardens of Peace edit

In 1998 a group of 6 founders saw a need for a local Muslim burial cemetery in the United Kingdom. The aim for the cemeteries to provide and perform the rites of burial for a Muslim. This would include the washing of body to the janazah prayer and actual burial. Long term plans are to provide a bereavement service and general up keep of all sites. The first burial at their first cemetery was in 2002 at Gardens of Peace (Elmbridge Road).
