I have been an ardent reader, minor editor, and sometimes commenter on Wikipedia for a long time before actually registering. While I will likely not bother to be logged in for smaller edits, I will make sure that anything non-trivial or controversial, statements in debates, and similar, are done through this account.

More information about who I am and what I think on various issues can be found on my private website (http://www.aSwedeInGermany.de), including writings on humans and human behaviour, language issues, and software development.

If you wish to contact me, discuss some issue, or similar, feel free to use email rather than my talk page.

Note: Since registering, I have actually became a far less involved editor than before. An unfortunate side-effect is that I am often not up-to-date with events on pages that I "watch" and may well take several weeks to notice any message left on my talk page.

The explanation for this is that I have switched to do most of my surfing using Tor. Wikipedia blocks edits by Tor users per default and I am not to keen on indirectly sharing my identity by being logged in to Wikipedia over Tor (this would defeat the purpose), which means that I have to run Wikipedia in a separate browser instance. This, in turn, creates a hurdle that I am rarely motivated to overcome---in particular, as I am regularly automatically logged out after just several days of inactivity.
