Wikipedia is a wonderful place on the web, devoted to the free distribution of information among people around the world, which is in many ways the primary purpose of the internet.
However, I also think that "Talk" pages, the main forum for discussion here, are unstructured and could be improved. I support the effort to convert these pages into more modern fora consisting of topics and threads. This idea has been previously proposed here:
Wikipedia:Village pump (perennial proposals)#Wiki-discussion vs. Message Board.
