1. Biography

Metabaronic is a wikipedian whose IP address (86dot173dot133dot25 ) may have made minor tweaks in the past, but who has now come clean with a view to taking ownership of his edits, which are likely to be accurate and informed. He favours discussion and consensus over imposition, and realises he should make better use of sandboxes, but he defends his right to make unintentional mistakes as a result of being bold, and always promises to clear up his own mess afterwards.

For the record, his ancestry is mixed. His family comes from Fradswell in Staffordshire and Tettenhall in Wolverhampton, he was born in Wednesbury, was educated in Wolverhampton, lived in Sandwell and Birmingham for 20 years each, and has worked in Birmingham for 23 years.

PS. Formatting tips are always welcome.

2. Relevant Interests

I have lots, but I'll only list those I may be interested in editing.

At the present time, these are:

I should point out that none of these interests are politically motivated. I don't support an Anglo-Saxon or Mercian revival, I don't have any political affiliations with Birmingham, I don't have fixed views about what is or isn't proper Doctor Who, or about what is or isn't the definitive version of the Hitchhiker's Guide, although I am an atheist polyhistor.

4. To Do List

Items to do in relation to Mercia:

5. Library

On the basis that I can only quote from what's online or from the books I own, its seems like an eminently sensible idea to list the relevant (and doubtless irrelevant books) that are available to me in the comfort of my own home. As I own more books than Hitler managed to accrue in his lifetime, this may take some considerable time. My library, as it develops, can be found here.
