Seven Acre Rock edit

Seven Acre Rock is a rock outcrop within the Seven Acre Rock Natural Features and Scenic Reserve located to the south of Powelltown in Victoria, Australia.[1] The 14.67 hectare reserve, which was established in 1997, is managed by Parks Victoria. The Tynong Granite rock outcrop affords views of the Yarra State Forest and Bunyip State Park and provides rock climbing opportunities.[2][3] Plant species occuring in the reserve include Epacris impressa, Callistemon pallidus, Correa lawrenceana var. latrobeana, Leionema bilobum, Prostanthera melissifolia and Zieria arborescens.[4] The reserve was burnt in a bushfire in March 2009.[5]

Macfarlane Lookout

Macfarlane Lookout (historically McFarlanes Lookout[6] ) is a prominent hill located to the north-east of Benambra in Victoria, Australia. The hill is 1130 metres high and is separated from The Brothers Range by the Morass Creek valley to the west.[7][8] On the north-eastern side, cliffs of exposed syenite are a dominant feature of the landscape.[9] The hill lies within the Macfarlane Lookout Natural Features and Scenic Reserve managed by Parks Victoria. The reserve, which covers 309.3 hectares, was established in 1979.[10] Plant species found in the reserve include Matted Bossiaea (Bossiaea buxifolia), Small Crowea (Crowea exalata) and Long-leafed Waxflower (Philotheca myoporoides)[11][12][13]
