He attended seat of wisdom sss[2] for his Olevel and joined sseguku hill college for his Alevel where he was awarded UACE certificate by UNEB in 2011. in 2012 Derrick joined kyambogo university for a bachelors degree in education[3] .In late 2011 Mawejje joined gibbun woori world where he acquired prominent ICT skills and he graduated.
in late december 2011 mawejje embarked on pujab forms to attain government sponsorship but that seemed a failure , hower he was admitted on private sponsorship for a degrees progrmme for 3 years.[3]
