Physically, Masha is in pretty good shape. She is very tall with pale skin, strawberry blond hair (more strawberry than blonde) hair and aqua blue eyes. This often made her stand out significantly in some of the cultures in which she lived, which she attributes to her sometimes quiet disposition.
Though American by birthright, she grew up in a lifestyle that was rich and diverse, having lived in the middle east, all over Europe, Asia (east/west and southeast), South America and Africa neighbourhood. She was raised by her father, her mother having left when she was young.
Masha's best friend is a traveling man called Emmanuel Fisher. They have a very firey friendship. They enjoy golf together, which she learned to play in the deserts of Saudi Arabia.
