Mash K Nistel is a popularly known soldier in the Ugandan Army (UPDF), his original name is Kurong Mashur. bone on 18 May 1987 in kapchorwa main hospital. son of Mr Yusufu Mama and Mrs Asiina Yusufu Achia. he joined the ugandan vanguard force in 2006 and remarkably became one of the best performing troops at the level of his rank Corporal. leaving a three times logistics record at the UN Log base Mogadishu where he worked in 2012 with Battle Group 9+, 10 and later Battle Group 20 in 2017. he is a dual professional in both IT and procurement & Logistics management.
Mashur has been hitting headlines in his home town Kapchorwa since he became the first soldier from the elgon region to construct a flat residential house and carrying out several businesses besides his army job which has never been the case to any ugandan soldier since the beginning.
