My Name is Martin Timm (you may have guessed it from the headline).
I studied electrical engineering at Darmstadt University of Technology, with the focus area "Theory of electromagnetic fields". Head of this Institute is Prof. Thomas Weiland. Main focus of the institute is numerical simulation of electromagnetic fields, accelerator physics, and, at the time i was there, development of the software package MAFIA,
I worked for CST - Computer Simulation Technology AG in Darmstadt, since 2001 in various functions (Support, Application Engineering, Sales),I was CST's Director Global Marketing.
As a consequence of the acquisition of CST by Dassault Systèmes i work now for the SIMULIA Marketing team.
