Mark Worton (born 9th March 1964 in Goole, Yorkshire) is a retired English soccer player who played in the Northern Premier League in England before moving abroad to play professionally in the Canadian Soccer League and Canadian National Soccer League.

Worton played for the Goole Town AFC from 1984-1989 appearing 126 times and in 1985 was their Player of the Year. In Canada he played for the Hamilton Steelers in 1991, appearing 20 times including one play-off appearance and in 1992 played with the London Lasers appearing 13 times. After the demise of the CSL he signed for Toronto Croatia in 1993 but never played a game due to a serious knee injury. In 1994 he played for the Hamilton White Eagles for two seasons, and the highlight of this was being selected for the NSL All-star team to play Montreal Impact.

After retiring Worton joined the coaching ranks at Oakville Soccer Club. During this time he earned his US, Canada and UEFA A Licenses and became a Team Ontario provincial Coach in 2016. After a successful stint as a youth coach, Worton became an Assistant Coach at Guelph University helping them to an Ontario University Athletics Ontario Championship and a Bronze at USports Nationals!

Worton became the Head Coach at the University of Waterloo in 2017. In 2018, he was awarded OUA West Division Coach of the Year!

In the 2022 season, the Waterloo Warriors made the final four at the OUA, defeating the #1 team in the country (York Lions) along the way and becoming #10 ranked team nationally in Canada!
