What's "up" with the name?

"-up" is a suffix used in some Noongar languages of Southwest Western Australia, and essentially means "place of" whatever word it is added to. Usually this would be a Noongar word (often for an animal or plant associated with the area). Since there is not a Noongar word for "sockpuppet", English will have to do. And so after that lengthy pre-explanation, "Sockpuppetup" means "place of sockpuppets". Welcome and may you never find yourself listed here, as otherwise Djiti-Djiti will tell you off and harass you for all eternity.

Telstra mobile Australian geography, BLP and music disruptor edit

Disrupts the topics of:

  • Australian geography, eastern Australian named places and train stations
  • BLPs, usually connected with Australia somehow
  • Music

Primarily uses telstra mobile IP addresses, and as these use CGNAT, it is not possible to stop them with blocking a single IP address. The number of pages affected makes page protection utterly ineffective.

Characteristics include:

  • Removal of maintenance templates (usually all of them)
  • Addition of unsourced geographical elevations to infoboxes
  • Distance changes in infoboxes
  • Unsourced dates in music articles
  • Unsourced content in BLP articles, such as dates

Some IPs that they have used:
