I'm a college student who is taking a class on editing Wikipedia pages.

edit plans edit

One of the pages I plan on editing is Centennial, CO. There are a few facts that need to be updates, such as the opening of the IKEA building. (update: this has been done as of 9 Oct 2011) Another page I plan on editing is Cherry Creek High School. There are a few sentences that aren't NPOV and could be reworded. (update:done as of 9 Oct 2011) Another page I plan on editing is Peer Health Exchange. Being a part of the program, I plan on adding some new statistics and facts for the past school year. I also plan on adding some more facts about the program in the bay area.(update:done as of 9 Oct 2011). I have also done grammar edits on the linguistic relativity page and the Dear John (2010 film) page.

group project edit

Working with User:molarbear, User:RockyMountainLocal, and User:Thegannon, we plan to develop a separate page for the Sapir-Whorf hypothesis. Right now, the link to the page directs to the page for Linguistic relativity. We plan to make an entirely separate page that deals with the development of the hypothesis and its affects on the rest of the world of anthropological theory.

Update: 10 Oct 2011 -- our page is up! See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Molarbear/Sapir-Whorf_Hypothesis

gender project edit

I have several ideas about a gender-related project. One page that would be interesting is Women in the People's Republic of China. One aspect of the page that they haven't touched on at all is young women as migrant workers in factories in Southern China, so I might add a little about that. I could also connect this to the Globalization and women in China, since the two topics are related.
