editBorn October 13, 1956, Prof. Francis hails from Amanator(Ogboza),Ideato South LGA, Imo State, Nigeria. He got his B.sc Physics (2nd class Upper) University Of Nigeria (1980); M.sc Physics and Technology of Amorphous Materials University Of Dundee, Scotland (1984); PhD Experimental Solid State Physics and Materials Science University Of Nigeria,Nsukka (1995); Post-Doctoral Fellow in Crystal Growth Centre, Anna university, India (1996)[1]
