My interests include The Vietnam War, especially The Siege of Khe Sahn, as a person close to me, survived that intense and high U.S. Marine Corps Echo Company fatality battle; Men who fought with tremendous courage because their lives were on the line and for other reasons as personal as every individual man carried inside.
I enjoy Classic Rock, especially rare musical "finds", The Blues, and Gospel done by Johnny Cash. I enjoy reading nearly every kind of literature and tinker around with the piano and guitar. I read and compose music MUCH better than I play.
I try to love Mother Earth everyday. Scientists say it's too late to save Mather Earth, but my Father farmed and was a good Stewart of the Land. I farmed also, when my Dad ran out of boys as they grew up and left home. So I CANNOT NOT LOVE MOTHER EARTH. Love is powerful when everyday you put action behind it. And it's SO EASY to love Mother Earth; She's provided for us for millions of years and billions of years before us she has evolved to give birth to our species.
I'm a Texan recently transplanted from the Northern Midwestern Lake Country with rich black farmlands. I obtained my Masters Degree up North "back in the day", followed by a wonderful career practicing what I learned at University and from listening very closely to my clients and my mentor and bumbling around until I became an expert. I discovered that if you are reasonably bright, have a good University education, listen and observe and listen again to your clients and tmentors early in your career, then practice that career for at least 10 years, almost anyone can become an expert in their profession. The only caveat I would add is that you must LOVE LEARNING and adapting to new knowledge constantly.
