Lawis Mark Ellot

For; lawis (of the hill), Mark (most common in DenMark), Ellot (Scottish before ca 1650 name for Elliot). Actually live 2km up in NM, USA. Took name from a Mark Ellot, call it; of the Hill, hung for sheep theft in Scottish criminal trials 1564. The earliest Mark of the name Ellot so far was able to find.

Math-Science-Computer Engineer, secondary, and associate professor for U of NM-Gallup. Cultural immersion, plus second language ESL in linguistics endorsed. Retired from AZ and NM education predominately Navajo students, in the Northern region of the southern four corners states (AZ&NM). Active with Plateau Sciences of Gallup, NM a local group interested in the study of the Colorado Plateau which covers a region of many American nations of today and in the past. Giving an interest in what has been left by these cultures and the need for their preservation, as provided by the US Antiquities Act of 1906.
