Laura Monachino is a New Zealand born figure skater and fashion model.
Monachino was born in Auckland and grew up in Orlando, Florida. She is a retired New Zealand representative figure skater at ISU Figure Skating Championships and a current international show skater in Disney on Ice, Stars on Ice and Holiday on Ice.[1] During her competitive years as a figure skater at a junior level, Monachino was coached by Don Laws and Robin Wagner. Her former colleagues include 2018 Olympic gold medalist Patrick Chan. In 2013, Laura graduated from AUT University obtaining a Bachelor of Health Science degree. At age 19 Monachino signed with Nova Model Management and in 2015 with sports talent agency IMG although the contract was short-lived. [2]
