General Background edit

Life has always afforded me professional and personal opportunities far greater than I deserve. For the last 10 years this has included my current position as a professor of Chemical Engineering at Brigham Young University (BYU). The students at BYU and the many other schools with whom I have associated consistenly inspire and impress me. Previously I worked for Sandia National Laboratories in Livermore, CA for about 14 years. My research focuses on experimental and theoretical sustainable energy issues. My wife and I have four children and live in Orem, UT, where local politics, civic organizations, church service, and an highly demanding professional career consume most of my time. In enjoy the outdoors, camping an average of 15-25 nights a year with various youth groups. I have lived in Wyoming, Idaho, Nevada, California, and now Utah and enjoyed each of these western states.

Wiki interests edit

My time on Wikipedia is limited and mostly used to correct issues related to subjects that students in my class may be browsing. While there are many inaccuracies in Wikipedia, I find it generally to be a highly useful web tool.

Topics edit
