Skarlet is sign for a mission to gain the other sides(the nice people) like kitana (shoa kahns step daughter)and raiden (the chosen one that can see everything and will stop shao kahn) trust. When skarlet goes to prove to them that she's not a bad person she tells them that she has abandoned her master and wants to help them to defeat shoa kahn.kang loa (the kung fu player with the power of fire and the one that defeated shoa khan two times and saved kitana) doesnt trust skarlet so when no one is there to stop him battle s skarlet skarlet wins but to gain his trust does not kill him After that raiden comes and sees that skarlet is a good person Skarlet battles with them but the more she stays with them she discovers that she wants to help them defeat evil not be evil So now she actually fights with them and raiden knows that.
