Born in Denmark, grew up in Venezuela and went to school in Florida (USA). Like planes, horses, sailing, technology and astronomy. I got my private pilot’s license in high school before learning to drive a car. Started riding horses when I was nine years old, competed in show jumping and basic dressage. Loved to sail on my step dads hobby-cat. Did some waterskiing in the Caribbean with a small boat I got for my birthday. I have some experience with computers. I remember when the internet was born when 1200 baud modems were used to dialup your ISP. VT-100 screen menus navigation, email and usenet text downloads and uploads, trust me, these were slow and buggy. Learned quite a bit from Windows for workgroups, can’t count how many setups for Netscape and Eudora I have done for friends and relatives. I have had an Atari-ST with Metacomco’s pascal, C and assembler IDE for programming DEC’s GEM operating system. I used to work for a OEM computer retailer assembling, repairing and upgrading PC’s, you wouldn’t believe how people messed things up by tinkering with their computers but once in a while a customer came in with the most advanced setup who needed some new gadget to work.
