Not sure what's supposed to go here, but at least one other user I saw used it for a short introduction.
I have surfed Wikipedia for a long time now, and have occasionally stumbled upon pages that I would have liked to have changed but was too intimidated to do so, but finally decided that I should join up and give back to this excellent source of information and free-association surfing.
Things that I have recently read about and are representative of the kinds of articles to which I will probably end up contributing (which will probably not help with the meta:Systemic Bias of Wikipedia problem):
I'm kind of a grammar nerd, so I may end up making a lot of superficial clean-up work, but I hope to contribute content as well if possible.
