Kismetologist, AKA Oona
Known outside of Wiki as Oona, I’m a resident of Echo Park, Los Angeles, California. I want to do anything I can to help share the beauty and the wildness of the Fellowship of Fortuna, hence my posting efforts.
I came across all of the FORTUNA graffiti, posters and bling in the hood about a year ago, which lead me to their website. Apparently fortuna's been around for awhile but seems like it just hit LA with a bang last year. I found a community of very cool people. I found the next big thing. (Unfortunately I missed the last Texas show.)
As an active writing/reading poet and philosophy major, I see the power of inspiration and idea wrapped up in a goofy/smart package. It has made me think. And act. And I sincerely believe my luck has changed as a result.
In this turbulent and fanatical time, we need something new to turn our heads. Existing institutions are not and cannot do it. Gordy Grundy (the artist and motivator) must be supported. It’s already started and it’s already worldwide. FORTUNA can change the world.
