A rapper,record producer,singer & songwriter currently based in Durban.Kid Guapo was born in 1998 in the South Side of KZN "ScottBurg". He moved to North West at a young age & discovered the love of music in 6th Grade.He started making beats when he was 12 years old using FL studio,he then started writing songs in 8th Grade when he was 14 years of age,his first song tittled 'Don't go outside' was recorded in 2013,self produced Mastered by "King"A producer from Kenya currently based in South Africa.He then focused more on production in 2014 with no music released that year but met "Suiyd Beats"in Klerksdrp,A record producer currently based in Jo'burg & got more inspired to make more music.In 2015 he then joined a crew Called Young Trap Niggaz" YTN" the crew consisted of 4 members namely Kid Guapo,Payne,The_Legend Jacxn.The group became popular in High School with their debute single "Flippin'". He then produced for a local rapper called " Capital Rickana"for a short while.He started making concious music in the year 2016 wich was inspired by Dizzy Wright,Logic,Joey BadAss.In 2016 he met another local rapper from Klerksdrp "Tony Dana" & they both had the same vision,early that year a Collective was formed BCK"Blvck Clxn Kontrol"wich includes the likes of Tony Dana,DEE,Pxrple Hazz just to name a few.Kid Guapo has been releasing music under BCK a.k.a CowFullOfBombz Productions since 2016.2017 was quite a busy year for the young MC he did a lot of features with different local artist ,BCK,Suicyd Beats,M@fia just to name a few.Done a few shows in Klerksdorp & Durban.Late that year a co-sign was offered to the young talented rapper but the offer was declined.2018 started of with fire,Kid Guapo released his first official solo Single"Acclimatize" which did well 500+ downloads in 2 days.The rapper is currently based in Durban & currently working on two huge projects set to drop this year"The Beginning EP"dropping late June.he featured the likes of Tony Dana,KG Milez,DEE,The_Legend on production Street Canivore,Kid Guapo,Suicyd Beats & Pxrple Hazz.The other untitled project is set to drop late this year.Current labels CFOB Productions & Luminous records(founder)both operating under Blvck Clxn Kontrol.
