I am a retired chemical engineer (B. Ch. E, 1983), Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia, USA

My professional career was in the field of environmental engineering, consulting in my early career on municipal water and wastewater pretreatment, treatment, and permitting. Later, I transitioned to more focus on industrial wastewater treatment processes, and eventually to hazardous waste and petroleum contaminated sites remediation designs and air permitting issues.

In retirement I traveled by sailboat for some years and more recently have taken up permaculture farming in the tropics.

I am an advocate of carbon dioxide removal and devote significant effort to tracking progress and understanding developments in this rapidly growing and vital area of technological development.
