Laserdisc edit

Because of the popularity of the the Image:LDDVDComparison.jpg picture, I would like to add some additional trivial facts of that image.

The DVD used is the data side of a Killzone demo which has long been destroyed. The laserdisc used is ironically a DVD demo/infomercial which seems to to have been produced for the now defunct The Good Guys! electronics chain in southern California. This single-sided CAV disc comes with analog-only sound and produced by Pioneer. The video content is a mixture of movie trailers, promotional spots for DVD players, and Good Guys themselves. The disc is labeled 09-394 DVD INFOMERCIAL THE GOOD GUYS, manufactured by Pioneer New Media Technologies, INC.

I acquired is this when I purchased their next to last laserdisc player for sale, a CLD-S303, in 1996 and noticed that disc was still inside. When I brought up the matter with the salesperson, he simply said I could keep it.

Facial Composite edit

After discovering the popularity of the self-portrait image when I googled my user name, I would like to add some additional trivial facts about that image.

The image was done with FACES 3.0 software and is actually one of a series of attempted self-portraits that may or may not be a reasonable representation of my appearance; perhaps because my own bias strives for thinner appearance. For those using FACES 3.0 or 4.0 Law Enforcement edition, the intercode/BAC for this face is: UkFB4UxpGmNMhg+M2fBZrjDGeKJva0KgvN4Nm0
