DETHSTAR THRIVE Is an American Rock Band from Tarpon Springs, Florida. Original Members are Carl Hobbs on Guitar and Vocals, Nick Fancher on Bass,with Scott McCague on Drums (March2016-present).
The First Album was released in October of 2016… entitled REVOLUTION! Recorded at Mindshaft Studios, Engineered by Bill Ehrsam. The all original album has a mix of organic rock styles, Compared to a mix of Led Zeppelin meets Black Sabbath!
After making a name for themselves in the local Metal scene, booking and promoting local music from 2015-2017, the band took a hiatus due to The wedding of Carl Hobbs and Joelle Szumski!
Time will tell if the Second album will be recorded, but writing has been underway.
