Julia is a notable licensed attorney in Michigan and Washington, D.C. After having been one of ten U.S. students selected as a William Jefferson Clinton Scholar in 2010, she spent a year of study at American University Dubai (AUD). The scholars were selected by the Clinton Foundation and supported by Sheikh Mohammaed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE. In 2011, Julia worked as a legal and administrative assistant in Dubai for an international business development company, Naseba, headquartered in Monaco. During this time, Julia had the opportunity to work at the India Healthcare Expansion Summit, Middle East Healthcare Innovations Summit - Abu Dhabi, and the World Diabetes Congress in Dubai. The conferences provided strategic platforms for gaining knowledge, exchanging ideas, and showcasing innovative solutions to the challenges of inadequate healthcare. Additionally, Julia has annually participated in the Clinton Global Initiative University as a Student Ambassador. In 2012, Julia graduated with a degree in Political Theory & Constitutional Democracy, in addition to a certificate in International Studies. In 2013, Julia completed a 21st Century Lawyering program at Westminster Law School in London, UK and participated in the ReInvent Law Conference. Through her coursework at Michigan State University College of Law, Julia developed a strong interest in examining and addressing the major political, legal, and economic issues faced by global communities. Her education and experiences have enriched her with the analytical and problem-solving skills essential for a future career in diplomacy, law, public policy, and international affairs. She holds a strong conviction in the belief that the inter-workings of nations, their public policies, and their legal systems must have implications that reflect the value of human life.
