Juansidious is a WikiGnome. He enjoys editing Wikipedia by making unnecessary corrections and attempting to create pages that aren't notable.

Self Centered Edits

Juansidious is a creature of self-importance.In some of his early edits, he would quite often place unimportant names into articles. It is assumed by some that they are either names of people he knows personally, or Juansidious's own name.

Quest to become an Administrator

On May 13, 2007, Juansidious applied for adminship. He believed that he would be a helpful administrator with his top priority to stop vandalism and block vandals. He noted that his best contributions are merely cases where he fixes typos. The request was unanimously opposed by 6 users, most of which gave the reason that he did not have enough experience and has less than 200 edits. This request was a spectacular failure and was closed early by Chaser per WP:SNOW. Juansidious plans to request adminship again in the future. He has begun racking up edits and on May 29, 2007, finally passed the 500 mark[1].

The Poser Admin

Somewhat related to his quest to become an administrator, Juansidious often masquerades as an administrator. He enjoys threatening vandals that they will be blocked if they continue with their slanderous ways. Although it is true that these vandals may be blocked, it is interesting to note that he has no power to block them himself.

Beef With Vandals

In one of his early warnings to a user, Juansidious abruptly asked 68.192.27.4 not to edit. Although this was a vague warning, it could be assumed that he meant not to vandalize Wikipedia. 68.192.27.4 responded to this by writing on Juansidious's talk page saying: "your [sic] such a cunt."
On May 27, Juansidious requested that Benito484847 refrain from adding jokes from articles, as he did to Benito Mussolini in this edit[2]. The user fired back with an all-out assault on Juansidious's user page, as seen here[3] and here[4]. When Caltas reverted the offending edits, Benito tried to vandalize Caltas's user page as well. However, due to his incredible incompetence, Benito vandalized the page of a nonexistent user named "Catlas." If the "Catlas" page is deleted, the archived version can be seen here[5]. Juansidious did not take the vandalism sitting down, and returned fire with a low blow, mocking Benito's creation of the abovementioned Catlas page[6]. It wasn't until Benito returned for more vandalism under the moniker benitothedon that Juansidious finally took action, reporting Benito for sockpuppetry. On June 3, 2007, Benito rose from the ashes of an indefinite block as Benitoisback. He was immediately reported on the admin noticeboard.
Another vandal (possibly Benito or one of his associates) used a novel assault, altering the caption[7] under Juansidious's image to imply that Juan is a pedophile. He was banned for this action, as well as for aggression towards other editors.

Trivia

Juansidious occasionally has trouble writing on users' talk pages. When he attempts to do this he will accidentally edit the user page instead [8] [9].
