He was born in Trichy and son of N.Rajaramam and Malika. He completed his school studies in Bishap Heebar He.Sec.School and he has the UG graduate in commerce in National College and PG graduation in Tamil in Madurai Kamaraj university. During his college period he was elected as Student Team Leader throughout the whole city.

He was introduced as a lyricist in Aattam Tamil film. He wrote all the lyrics in this film. But his fame was pondering over the Tamil Nadu by the deep melody song Manasukkul Manasukkul from director Miskin's Anjaathae. And then, at the first time, Priyan and Vijay Antony music combo in Kaathalil Vizhunthaen ,the song pulaai purappadu leads their friendship to their later projects.There after he wrote his lyrics for leading star Vijay film Vellaayutham, the song Vellaa Vellaa Vellaayutham is remarkable one among the Vijay fans.His Makkayaala Makkayaala lyric bring him forth with a huge fame among the youths of Tamil Nadu in Naan film. Music director Vijay Antony casting as hero in this film.
His lyric Jananam Jananam insisted the self confidence, in Goli Soda film,the cinematographer Vijay Milton, who directed this film was succeeded in the Box Office. The another level of super duper hit song Maskkaara Pottu from Vijay Antony's Salim brought him the name as a standard lyricist in Tamil.
