The Civilization VI New Frontier Pass is DLC for the game. The DLC adds many new leaders and civilizations. At this moment there are two announced civilizations that are Gran Columbia, and the Maya. They are led by Simon Bolivar and Lady Six Sky. They have also announced Ethiopia[1] but have not revealed them at this time.
The DLC costs 40.00$ USD. The Maya and Gran Columbia DLC also includes new natural wonders like the Bermuda Triangle, New city states like Lahore, new natural disasters that are forest fires and comets, and a new game-mode called apocalypse which has more intense natural disasters. The developers also made a free update that fixes bugs and other changes. The DLC will last until May 2021. They also included a special DLC that includes a rework of Theodore Roosevelt and Catherine De Medici that changes their abilities and this will be given to players once Ethiopia has been released and if they own the New Frontier Pass.
