Jordi Marí Ametller
Born in Barcelona in 1974, he is a contemporary visual artist, characterized by his bright and colorful paintings. He likes to experiment with all kind of media and being involved in all painting styles.
He’s first incursions were in the street art scene in the early nineties.
He studied digital design and art history at the University of Barcelona, where he developed a wide interest for drawing and painting. However, he decided not to complete his studies and considers himself a self-taught artist.
His great influences are the underground culture and all the avant-garde of the 20th century, specially Pablo Picasso, H.Matisse, J.Miró among others.
Currently lives and works in Barcelona, Spain.
