Who is JohnAdriaan? edit
I've been a computer programmer for many years, since even before the original IBM PC was invented.
I prefer systems programming, using Assembly Language and C/C++, but I use many other computer languages as well.
Other than programming computers, I enjoy driving: I've driven 4,000 kms (2,500 miles) to visit friends a number of times!
I read voraciously, but am often annoyed by mis-spellings: I've edited many Wikipedia articles for typos anonymously.

I was born in Australia, where I continue to live despite having travelled widely: I haven't found another country I like as much!
I've driven to every State and Territory, including Tasmania three times, which requires an overnight ferry.
