The table below lists all clubs from Metropolitan Gothenburg that have their men's team playing in any of the top five tiers of the Swedish football league system. From the top league Allsvenskan down to to Division 3 at the fifth level, these tiers are administrated by the Swedish Football Association. Tier six (Division 4) and lower is managed by the Gothenburg Football Association.
