Jocelyn Garrett is an American singer and songwriter based in Chicago, Illinois. She was born in Akron, Ohio April 24, 1990. She began her career at 26, where she received recognition for her tracks “United Anthem” and “Gold”. In 2019, she released her first album “Rebuilding”. The album heightened her career, leading her to make streaming charts on social media platforms such as Spotify, iTunes, iHeartRadio, and Youtube. Her album became #1 new release in Dance Pop on Amazon (November 2019- December 2019). In 2020, she released her single “Best Life” music video. The singer/songwriter is currently working on an album to be released in 2022, including 20 tracks with numerous featured artists within Chicago.

Jocelyn Garrett tried out for American Idol in (2008) and The Voice (2015). She met local Chicago producer Justin James in 2017, that created her first EP album “Gold” and her first full album “Rebuilding.” In 2019, her album “Rebuilding” made streaming sources on all social media platforms. The album helped leverage her career into the making of her second album to be released at the end of 2022. She is currently an independent artist, who is the vocalist and writer on all her tracks. She is working with producers Eric Block, Justin James, and Rev Deville.

She is working under the studio Rec Room Studios based in Des Plaines, Illinois. Garrett’s music is generally Pop with elements of EDM.
