The Cradley Heath Worker's Institute originally stood on Lomey Town Mound in Cradley Heath. It was opened in June 1912, and was intended to be a new centre of social activity in the district. The Institute was funded by the surplus from the 1910 Women Chainmakers Strike Fund.[1]
