Jonel Juste, journalist, writer, was born in Port-au-Prince on October 2, 1980. During 4 years, from 2003 to 2007, he worked for Le Nouvelliste. From 2007 to 2011, he was the editor-in-chief of the French magazine Vues d’Haiti and the press agency Haiti Press Network. Jonel collaborated also with the daily Le Matin. As a poet, he was member of the Workshop Marcel Gilbert of the Library Justin Lhérisson at Carrefour, in south of the capital Port-au-Prince . In the year 2000, he was winner of the contest “Dictée des Amériques” in Port-au-Prince and Canada . He also was in 2002 on of the winners of the contest of poetry organized by Haiti State University. Jonel's poems are published in many newspapers in Haiti an aboard.
