I am human rights lawyer, working full time on human rights since 1995, for the United Nations, the Organization of American States, the Bureau des Avocats Internationaux and the Institute for Justice & Democracy in Haiti. I have particular interests in Haiti, economic and social human rights, human rights implications of U.S. foreign policy, grassroots organizing for human rights and the training of human rights advocates. I am a big Wikipedia fan- I find it very useful in my work, and am excited by its ability to diffuse information about human rights in the global south that would otherwise not be widely available.
