Authored "Combahee River Raid; Harriet Tubman and Lowcountry Liberation" The History Press 2014. Wrote for the Miami News and numerous mass circulation magazines. I am currently the President of the Colleton County Historic and Preservation Society 2015 to present. Member of the Board of Directors of The Civil War Fortification Study Group 2016 - 2017.I've also contributed and supplied original research to other historians and authors. I also submit site files of historic sites to the University of South Carolina Site Files,South Carolina Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology.
