Maitre Eolas^{[Note 1]} is the pseudonym of the lawyer owning the legal blog Journal d'un avocat, created in 2004.

About him edit

Eolas (Maitre having been first added by commentating readers and, lastly, used in the URL because of the exigence from the current hoster of a minimum number of characters) is a lawyer of the Paris bar association.

He kept his name secret firstly to avoid the issue of advertising, which is forbidden for legal professions in France, and secondly to retain his privacy.
