Journal entries from 7th February 1993 through 24 March 1996 are from a journal I kept in a spiral notebook. It was the first time I wrote daily in any journal, although I admit I didn't focus much on things of great importance.
Entries from the 25th of March 1996 through 24th June 2000 come from a journal I kept in a half-page, three-ringed journal.
Entries from 14th July 2000 through 27 April 2002 come from a bound, full-page-sized journal.
Entries from 28th April 2002 through 24 Sept 2003 come from a journal similar to the previous, differing in the color of the cover.
Entries from 24th September 2003 through 20 Oct 2004 come from another journal similar to the previous two, again with a different color.
From Oct 2004 through December, I experimented with different formats of typing my journal, mostly in HTML (HyperText Markup Language). Then, in January, I learned about \LaTeX{} and began to write my journal using that language, which is compiled similar to a computer program, but the output can be in one of several formats, including .dvi, .pdf, .html, .txt, and others. Thus, entries from between October and January were typed in different files and then copied here afterwards.
Lastly, entries from 14th January 2005 through the present (today being 12 May 2005), have all been typed in \LaTeX{} and stored in various files, one for each month, and then compiled into the file you are most likely reading today.
