Calendars edit

"Thus, Dionysius' Anno Domini 532 is equivalent to Anno Diocletiani 248." (Doggett 1992:579)

HTML edit

"You may use CITE (the logical tag for marking citations) to make text italic, although it is less widely recognized and less widely used than the I tag." (Castro 1998:45) Here is the same citation without the small tag. (Castro 1998:45) The difference is quite noticeable when the I.E. 7 text size is set to medium, but not when it is set to larger.
